Who is responsible

Cygnus Technologies W.L.L., State of Qatar, is responsible for personal information submitted through this website. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to gm@cygnustech.me.

Information we collect

The enquiry form may collect your name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, organisation, country of operation, GCC market of interest, area of interest, decision timeframe, and the context you choose to provide.

Why we use it

We use this information to assess and respond to your enquiry, communicate with you, evaluate a possible strategic engagement, coordinate delivery where an engagement proceeds, meet legal obligations, and protect our legitimate business interests. Where consent is the applicable basis, you may withdraw it at any time.

Sharing and international transfers

We may share relevant information with selected independent Network Members only where needed to assess or fulfil your requirements. Those organisations may be located outside Qatar, including in the United States, Europe, APAC and EMEA. We limit disclosure to what is necessary and use appropriate contractual or other safeguards where required.

Retention and security

Enquiry information is normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. If an engagement begins, relevant records may be kept for the engagement and any longer period required by law, accounting, dispute-resolution or legitimate record-keeping needs. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards and delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing; you may also withdraw consent and complain to the relevant supervisory authority. Qatar Law No. 13 of 2016 provides rights including withdrawal, objection, deletion and correction. GDPR rights may apply where European data-protection law governs the processing.
